If something is worth doing, it is worth doing well.
We believe that this saying, which Prof. Dr Erdal Onar, who is very dear to us, often repeats in his lectures, reflects our view of life and our work in the best way. For this reason, we owe it to ourselves to remind ourselves of it every morning before we climb the steps of our office.
The original saying is "If a thing is worth doing, it is worth doing well". This saying and the paragraphs in which it appears are attributed to many literary figures, including Oscar Wilde.
Another information about the origin of the saying is that it was written in a similar form as "Whatever is worth doing at all, is worth doing well." by Philip Stanhope, Earl of Chesterfield, in a letter to his son in 1774.
Although the rumours are various, the content is essentially the same. For this reason, it is worth doing everything we do in the best way, researching, working and striving to achieve the best results.
